The Victorian pier at Hastings in East Sussex, England on January 1, 2013. Opened in 1872, the pier was badly damaged by fire in October 2010. Restoration work is expected to commence in Spring 2013.

I am a stock photographer living in the Kent town of Tenterden in England.
